My passion for massage therapy is driven by a lifelong interest in wholistic wellness, specifically focused on the interconnected nature of physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. Martial arts is also a passion of mine. I've taught Tae Kwon Do to people of all ages, as well as yoga and ballroom dancing. Through practicing and teaching these physical arts, I have personally experienced and seen the benefits of increased kinesthetic awareness in daily life.
In 2014, I received my Batchelor of Science degree in Psychology from Iowa State University. During my time at Iowa State, I studied a variety of counseling techniques, with particular emphasis on the mind-body connection and the power of mindfulness.
In 2018, I graduated from Crestone Healing Arts Center in Crestone, CO with 630 hours of training. I am certified by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB) and am a Licensed Massage Therapist.
In late 2018, I completed training courses in Myofascial Release Therapy, and Deep Tissue Massage. My bodywork treatments integrate multiple styles of massage, customized to my clients needs.
